How we use your face

In one sentence

If you authorize it, we turn your selfie into a mathematical measurement of your face, compare that measurement with the photos from that event, and show you which ones you appear in. That's it.

What we collect

• The selfie you send — discarded within the same request.
• A numeric measurement of your face (a vector) extracted from that selfie. That vector is biometric data and is treated as sensitive personal data.
• The record of your authorization: date, time, IP address, browser, and the exact version of this text you accepted.

What for, and for how long

Sole purpose: finding the photos you appear in at that event. The measurement of your face is deleted in 30 days, by an automatic and auditable routine. The full retention periods are in the Retention and deletion policy.

Under what legal basis

Specific consent for sensitive personal data (LGPD art. 11, I) Biometric data is a protected category: it can only be processed with your express authorization, given before collection. That's why we ask beforehand, not afterward.

What we do not do

• We do not use your face for advertising.
• We do not train artificial-intelligence models with your face.
• We do not sell or rent biometric data to anyone.
• We do not compare you against photos from other events.
• We do not keep your selfie after the search.

You are not required to use it

Searching by bib number finds the same photos without touching your face, and is always available, in the same place and with the same prominence. Declining to use your face does not limit your purchase.

Minors under 18

The authorization must be given with a legal guardian's email, recorded together with the consent. The guardian can revoke it at any time, through the same channel.

Who else is involved

The photographer who publishes the photos is contractually required to notify participants on site that facial-recognition search will be available. If you were photographed without that notice, write to our Data Protection Officer.

How to withdraw your authorization

At any time, in the Retention and deletion policy, with one click — or by writing to exclusao@fbprimeshot.com. Revocation deletes it immediately, not at the end of the retention period: it erases your consent, your search history, and the measurement of your face from the photos where the search found you.
